Job Description
A reputed Multi-Speciality Hospital in Kadi is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts team.
The ideal candidate should hold a B.Com or M.Com degree and have 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience. The candidate should have a good understanding of day-to-day accounting operations and be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, vouchers and other accounting documents.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain and reconcile ledgers and bank accounts.
- Assist with monthly account closing and financial reporting.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up as required.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing and accounting matters.
- Assist with hospital billing and financial reconciliation where required.
- Prepare regular accounting reports for management.
- Support the senior finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.
Candidate Requirements
- B.Com or M.Com from a recognised institution.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems will be an advantage.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Candidates with hospital/healthcare accounting experience will be preferred.
