Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our rehabilitation team. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from neurological disorders, stroke, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and other physical impairments. The goal is to restore mobility, improve functional independence, reduce pain, and enhance the overall quality of life of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on patient needs.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation.
- Administer manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
- Assist patients in improving strength, coordination, endurance, flexibility, and range of motion.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and caregivers to ensure holistic rehabilitation.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and progress reports.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of physiotherapy and rehabilitation equipment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and patient care planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the State Physiotherapy Council or relevant regulatory authority.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Certification in Neuro-Rehabilitation, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Rehabilitation will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation planning skills.
- Knowledge of neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Experience Preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in a rehabilitation center, hospital, nursing home, or home healthcare setting.
- Experience managing stroke, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, post-surgical, and elderly rehabilitation patients is preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
