Responsibilities:
Implement NCR’s Card Management solution ‘Authentic Cards’ and EFT transaction processing solutions ‘Authentic’ and ‘Terminal Handler’. Primary responsibilities include:
Implementation

Analysis and capture of business requirements and processes

Set up test environment based on the signed off business requirements

Configure the application and various components
-
Configure messages
-
Configure interfaces
-
Extending business logic and rules (‘actions’ writing in Java)
-
Conduct integration testing
Deployment
-
Working alongside the client team deploy the application(s) into the client’ environment:

Training
-
Supporting
-
SIT (System Integration Testing)
-
User Acceptance Testing
-
Certification with external bodies (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, Link)
Support

Receiving and handling of raised issues post deployment either as part of warranty or ongoing maintenance:

Incident recording, initial investigation and clarification

Incident resolution, perhaps by passing on to others

Patch production and deployment
Technical skills:

Development -

Knowledge and experience of programming in Java on real-time OLTP Systems with an Eclipse environment.

5+ years’ experience of Payment solution software (EFT Switch, Card Management Systems) development and deployment.
