Admission Counsellor
Location: Gurgaon, Haryana
About the Role
We are looking for empathetic and persuasive Admission Counsellors to guide prospective students and their families through the enrolment journey. You will be the first point of contact for leads and play a critical role in converting inquiries into successful admissions. This is a people-first role that blends counselling, consultative sales, and student success support.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with inbound and outbound student leads via calls, WhatsApp, email, and video calls.
- Understand prospective students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and concerns to recommend the most suitable programs.
- Deliver persuasive yet empathetic counselling sessions that clearly articulate the value of our EdTech offerings.
- Follow up diligently with leads through the admission funnel — from inquiry to enrollment.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly enrollment targets consistently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead records in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams for smooth post-admission onboarding.
- Handle objections professionally, address fee and scholarship queries, and close enrollments.
- Participate in webinars, virtual open days, and campus outreach activities.
- Gather feedback from enrolled students and share insights with the product/curriculum team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, Commerce, or Management preferred).
- 1–4 years of experience in admissions counselling, inside sales, or student recruitment in EdTech or education.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong active listening, empathy, and ability to build rapport quickly.
- Target-oriented with a positive, resilient attitude.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and lead management tools.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls and interactions daily with consistent quality.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
