Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- • Identify, target, and acquire new clients in freight forwarding, customs clearance, and transport segments.
- • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue goals.
- • Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial presentations for potential clients.
- • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure consistent business inflow.
- • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations independently.
Account Management
- • Build long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- • Manage end-to-end communication between operations and clients to ensure service quality.
- • Upsell and cross-sell additional logistics solutions based on client requirements.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- • Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks.
- • Identify emerging markets, trade routes, and business opportunities.
- • Provide inputs to management on market expansion and service portfolio development.
Team Collaboration & Reporting
- • Coordinate with operations, documentation, and accounts teams for smooth service delivery.
- • Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
- • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills:
- • Graduate / MBA in Marketing, International Business, or Logistics.
- • 8–12 years of proven experience in B2B logistics / freight forwarding sales.
- • Strong knowledge of Sea, Air, and Transport logistics operations.
- • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- • Proven ability to achieve revenue targets and maintain client relationships.
- • Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and report preparation.
- • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and willing to travel when required.
