Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and creative Design Engineer (Fresher) to join our R&D Department. The candidate will support the design and development of modular steel furniture products by preparing drawings, 3D models, and design documentation while coordinating with production and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using design software.
- Support the R&D team in new product development and design improvements.
- Modify existing product designs as per production and client requirements.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, and Purchase departments for smooth execution.
- Assist in prototype development and product testing activities.
- Ensure designs are practical, production-friendly, and cost-effective.
- Maintain proper design records and drawing revisions.
- Visit the production floor whenever required for design validation and problem-solving.
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and measurements.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal or furniture manufacturing will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the R&D field.
Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
