Job Title: Auditor

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Auditor to examine financial records, verify transactions, assess internal controls, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The candidate will identify discrepancies, prepare audit reports, and provide recommendations for improving financial and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external audits as assigned.
- Review financial statements, invoices, bills, receipts, and accounting records.
- Verify financial transactions and supporting documents.
- Identify errors, discrepancies, irregularities, and potential financial risks.
- Check compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Prepare audit working papers, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct physical verification of cash, inventory, assets, and other records when required.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Finance, HR, Operations, and other departments during audits.
- Follow up on audit observations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Assist management with risk assessment and process improvement.
- Ensure audit activities are completed accurately and within deadlines.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of financial statements and internal controls.
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA / CMA / ACCA qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant audit experience preferred.
