About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team remotely. The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and shop drawings for ELV systems, including CCTV, Structured Cabling, Public Address, Access Control, Video Intercom, Networking, and related low-current systems.
Previous ELV experience is preferred but not mandatory. Comprehensive training will be provided to the selected candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings for ELV systems.
- Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and schematic diagrams.
- Create CCTV camera layouts and coverage plans.
- Prepare Structured Cabling layouts, rack elevations, and cable routing drawings.
- Develop Public Address (PA) system layouts and wiring diagrams.
- Prepare Access Control, Video Intercom, and Network infrastructure drawings.
- Coordinate with project engineers and sales teams to incorporate design requirements.
- Revise drawings based on client comments and project updates.
- Maintain drawing standards and document control procedures.
- Prepare BOQ-related drawings and submission documents when required.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good understanding of technical drawings and drafting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Reliable internet connection and personal computer/laptop.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or Draftsmanship.
- Experience in ELV, MEP, Electrical, or Telecommunications drafting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of CCTV, Structured Cabling, Networking, Access Control, or PA Systems is a plus.
Training & Support
- Full training on CCTV, Structured Cabling, Public Address, Access Control, and other ELV systems will be provided.
- Ongoing technical guidance and support from our engineering team.
