Position: Intern - Wordpress Designer

Frigate is a cloud-based manufacturing startup that provides on-demand manufacturing services to OEM/ODM and product/device companies, helping them identify the right manufacturing vendors and leveraging their existing capacities to get their products manufactured.
IMPORTANT - We are only looking for full-time interns who can spend 3+ months on this internship. Should have basic knowledge on the industry
Job Role:
The WordPress Designer Intern will support the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress websites. They will ensure a seamless user experience through responsive design and efficient functionality.
Responsibilities:

Design, customize, and maintain WordPress websites in alignment with branding and functionality requirements.

Collaborate with content and SEO teams to integrate features that enhance user engagement and search performance.

Create and customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins to meet project needs.

Basic skills in Elementor, Advance custom field form plugins & SEO Plugins.

Ensure websites are fully responsive and compatible across various devices and browsers.

Optimize website speed, including image compression, caching, and database optimization.

Regularly update WordPress plugins, themes, and the core platform to maintain security and performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve website issues such as bugs, broken links, and design inconsistencies.

Assist in designing web pages with an eye for aesthetics, usability, and functionality.

Test new features and designs to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Research and suggest improvements to enhance the overall website user experience (UX).
Requirements:

Basic skills in WordPress plugins like Elementor, Advance custom field, Custom theme development, Rankmath & Security plugins

Basic understanding on UI & UX for new creative design ideas

Basic experience on Troubleshooting common website issues

Basic PHP coding knowledge to optimize code for speed optimization

Regular monitoring on website uptime/downtime & Security bug fixes
