Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Additional certifications in Design, GD&T, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
- Experience in Body in White design and development within the automotive industry.
- Exposure to Daimler/Mercedes-Benz engineering processes, systems, and documentation standards.
- Experience in working with global stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and international engineering partners.
- Knowledge of VA/VE, benchmarking, product tear-down, cost optimization, and weight reduction initiatives.
- Ability to support recruitment and hiring activities from a technical evaluation perspective.
- Experience in prototype development and technical validation activities.
