Role Overview
The Construction Head is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of real estate projects. This role ensures projects are completed within timelines, budget, and defined quality standards while managing internal teams, contractors, consultants, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end construction lifecycle from planning to handover
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and execution strategies
- Ensure timely delivery of projects with adherence to deadlines
2. Site Management & Execution
- Oversee all site activities and construction operations
- Monitor daily progress and ensure alignment with project plans
- Ensure proper deployment of manpower, machinery, and resources
3. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage project budgets
- Monitor project costs and control cost overruns
- Optimize resource utilization for maximum efficiency
4. Quality Assurance
- Ensure construction quality as per approved standards and specifications
- Implement QA/QC processes across all projects
- Conduct regular inspections and audits
5. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Finalize contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
- Monitor contractor performance and billing
- Negotiate contracts and manage rate agreements
6. Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement team for timely material availability
- Ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of materials
7. Compliance & Approvals
- Ensure all statutory approvals and compliances are met
- Adhere to safety norms, legal guidelines, and environmental standards
8. Team Leadership
- Lead and manage project managers, engineers, and site teams
- Provide guidance, training, and performance monitoring
- Build a strong execution-driven culture
9. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare and present project status reports to management
- Track KPIs such as cost, timelines, and quality metrics
10. Risk Management
- Identify potential project risks and delays
- Develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
