Are you a results-driven business development leader with a strong network in the Pharma & Life Sciences industry? We are looking for an experienced Business Development Director – IT Manufacturing Operations & Services to drive strategic sales, build long-term client relationships, and accelerate business growth across our IT Services portfolio focused on Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Digital Transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end business development and revenue growth for IT Manufacturing Operations & Services.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and consultative selling.
- Build and manage strong relationships with CIOs, CXOs, Manufacturing, and Quality leaders across the Pharma & Life Sciences industry.
- Lead the complete sales lifecycle—from lead generation and opportunity qualification to proposal development, commercial negotiations, deal closure, and account management.
- Collaborate with internal SMEs and delivery teams to develop tailored client solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Partner with marketing teams on campaigns, industry events, and lead-generation initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, CRM, and accurate sales forecasting while consistently achieving revenue targets.
What We're Looking For
- 16+ years of experience in B2B consultative and solution sales within the IT Services industry.
- Proven success selling Digital Transformation, IT Infrastructure, Managed Services, and Manufacturing IT solutions to Pharma & Life Sciences clients.
- Strong network and established relationships with CIOs, CXOs, and Manufacturing & Quality leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to independently generate leads, develop opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong hunter mentality and passion for exceeding business targets.
