Mechanical Technician – Ground Support Equipment (GSE)

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Technicians to join airport ground operations in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in maintaining and repairing Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and heavy-duty mechanical systems used in airport operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Ground Support Equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, tractors, and other heavy-duty vehicles
- Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Conduct routine inspections to minimize equipment downtime
- Use diagnostic tools and software for fault detection and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in heavy equipment or automotive mechanics
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or Heavy Equipment Maintenance
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience in airport Ground Support Equipment (preferred)
- Ability to work in physically demanding operational environments
- Basic English communication skills required
Working Conditions & Benefits
- 8-hour duty shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
