Position: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor – Adhesive Tape Manufacturing
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage our maintenance department. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within the adhesive tape manufacturing industry or similar process industries.
Key Requirements:
- Strong practical knowledge and experience in maintenance of industrial machinery, including:
- Shafts , rollers
- Motors and rewinding units
- Conveyor belt systems
- Blowers and pumps
- Bearings and gear mechanisms
- Experience in handling maintenance of converting and related production machinery used in adhesive tape manufacturing.
- Well-versed in preventive maintenance (PM), breakdown maintenance, and periodic maintenance planning.
- Ability to maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and tracking systems.
- Good understanding and implementation of 5S practices and workplace organization.
- Experience in critical spare parts identification, listing, and monitoring.
- Ability to prepare basic mechanical drawings for critical components and coordinate effectively with external fabricators/vendor partners.
- Strong coordination skills to work closely with production, quality, and other departments.
- Capability to train, guide, and supervise junior maintenance staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all mechanical maintenance activities across the plant.
- Ensure smooth functioning and minimal downtime of all machinery through effective maintenance planning and execution.
- Implement and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with internal systems.
- Identify critical components and ensure adequate spare parts availability.
- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators for repair, modification, and new part development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance efficiency and reliability.
- Train and develop the maintenance team to enhance technical capabilities and response time.
We are looking for a proactive, technically strong, and leadership-driven individual who can ensure high equipment reliability and support uninterrupted production operations.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
