We are hiring Sub-Editor & Page Designer for Hindi Newspaper
Key Responsibilities
- Edit, proofread, and rewrite news stories for accuracy, clarity, and readability.
- Design and paginate newspaper pages using page layout software QuarkXPress.
- Edit and publish news stories for the website and other digital platforms.
- Write/edit headlines, captions, and summaries
- Verify facts and ensure adherence to editorial standards.
- Coordinate with reporters, editors, and the printing team for smooth production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Sub Editor in a Hindi Newspaper (editing and page designing)
- Familiarity with QuarkXPress, InDesign, or similar editorial software.
- Excellent command of Hindi/English (as applicable).
- Experience in digital news publishing will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
