The Job
We are looking for a CAD Designer to join our Design team. You will create jewelry designs using CAD software. You should have experience working for export companies and understand what the US, European, and bridal markets want.
What You Will Do
- Create 3D designs and technical drawings using CAD software
- Design jewelry based on what clients need and what export standards require
- Make designs that work well for US and European markets, especially bridal jewelry
- Work with our production team to make sure designs can be made
- Improve designs to make production faster and cheaper
- Keep all design files organized and updated
What We Need
- 5+ years of experience in jewelry CAD design
- Good skills in CAD software (JewelCAD, RhinoCAD, or similar)
- Experience working in the jewelry export business
- Experience with US and European markets (preferred)
- Understanding of bridal jewelry design
- If you have worked in or around SEEPZ, that's a plus
- Knowledge of how jewelry is made
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and specifications
