Job Title: Banquet Sales Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Banquet Sales Manager to drive banquet and event sales by generating new business, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless event planning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, coordinating with internal departments, and delivering exceptional customer experiences for weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and other special occasions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Generate banquet sales through corporate clients, event planners, wedding planners, travel agents, and direct customer inquiries.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to maximize banquet revenue.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Conduct site visits and venue tours for prospective clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry meetings to promote the venue.
Client Relationship Management
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable banquet packages.
- Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing while maintaining profitability.
- Act as the primary point of contact from inquiry to event confirmation.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and promptly resolve client concerns.
Event Coordination
- Coordinate with the operations, banquet, kitchen, décor, housekeeping, and finance teams to ensure flawless event execution.
- Conduct pre-event meetings to communicate client requirements to internal teams.
- Monitor event arrangements to ensure quality standards are met.
- Handle last-minute changes efficiently while maintaining service excellence.
Revenue & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, bookings, and revenue using CRM or sales management systems.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences.
- Forecast banquet business and identify opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- 3–7 years of experience in banquet sales, hotel sales, event sales, or hospitality sales.
