Hiring: Sr Design Engineer / Lead Engineer – Automotive Air Vent Design

CAD Tool: CATIA V5 (Primary), Siemens NX (Secondary)
We are looking for experienced professionals for Senior Design Engineer and Lead Engineer positions in Automotive Air Vent Design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of automotive air vent systems including center, side, rear, and defrost vents
- Plastic component design including housings, bezels, knobs, frames, and mechanisms
- Kinematic design for vent vane mechanisms
- Concept design, feasibility studies, master sections, and detailed part development
- Packaging and integration with HVAC ducts and IP substrate
- Apply DFM/DFA, mold tooling feasibility, and Mold Flow considerations
- Support DFMEA, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and DVP activities
- Preparation of manufacturing drawings, EBOM/PBOM, and design releases
- Manage engineering changes and participate in customer design reviews
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection molded component design
- Hands-on experience in CATIA V5 (Surfacing & Solid Modeling)
- Understanding of airflow, mechanism functionality, gap & flush
- Experience in automotive interior plastic product design
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills
Experience:
- Senior Design Engineer: 5–8 Years
- Lead Engineer: 8–10 Years
Qualification:
B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
