We are expanding our dealer network and market presence across Western India and are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive business growth in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Job Overview
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding the company's dealer network, generating new business, and strengthening market presence across Mumbai. The role requires extensive field travel, relationship management, and the ability to achieve territory-wise sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit motorcycle accessory and spare parts dealers across Mumbai.
- Develop and appoint new dealers and distributors.
- Generate fresh business and activate new retail counters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and channel partners.
- Increase product visibility and brand presence in the assigned territory.
- Identify market opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
- Ensure regular follow-up with dealers to drive sales growth.
- Achieve monthly sales targets through new dealer development and market expansion.
- Submit daily activity reports and coordinate with the internal sales team.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in field sales, dealer development, or territory management.
- Experience in automotive, motorcycle accessories, spare parts, lubricants, batteries, tyres, or related industries will be preferred.
- Must own or regularly use a motorcycle.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Mumbai.
- Strong dealer management and business development skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-driven with the capability to work independently and deliver results.
- Good understanding of the motorcycle aftermarket industry is an added advantage.
