The Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, providing excellent customer service, and identifying opportunities for business growth.
Core responsibilities
- Customer acquisition: Source new customers through direct sales, networking, and referrals.
- Sales target achievement: Drive sales for micro LAP and related home loan products to meet individual and team targets.
- Loan process management: Manage the end-to-end loan process, including client assessment, documentation, and ensuring compliance with policies.
- Relationship building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners, and DSAs (Direct Selling Agents) to ensure a steady flow of business.
- Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell other bank products to existing clients.
- Market analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and local market dynamics.
- Reporting: Generate reports on sales performance, client activities, and other key metrics.
Required skills and qualifications
- Sales and communication: Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Product knowledge: In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, particularly micro LAP.
- Market knowledge: Strong understanding of the local market and its specific needs.
- Customer service: Ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.
