Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers throughout the SDLC.
- Validate web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure product quality before production deployment.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing.
- Prepare detailed QA reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance software quality and testing efficiency.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience with Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and UAT testing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Good understanding of SQL for database validation.
- Experience using bug tracking tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
