We are looking for a passionate QA Tester & Application Support Intern with a strong interest in Test Automation. The intern will work on both manual and automated testing, assist in application support, and learn industry best practices for software quality assurance. This role provides hands-on experience in building automation scripts, API testing, defect management, and supporting production applications.

Key Responsibilities
Automation Testing (Primary Focus)
Learn and develop automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites.
Execute automated regression and smoke test suites.
Analyze automation test failures and report defects.
Assist in integrating automation tests with CI/CD pipelines.
Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
Quality Assurance
Create and execute manual test cases when automation is not applicable.
Validate new features, bug fixes, and integrations.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, API, and UAT testing.
Report, verify, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
Support release validation and production testing.
Application Support
Provide Level 1 application support for users.
Investigate reported issues and coordinate with development teams.
Validate fixes before production deployment.
Assist in production monitoring and issue tracking.
API & Database Testing
Test REST APIs using Postman.
Validate backend data using SQL.
Verify API responses and database consistency.
Learning & Collaboration
Work closely with QA, Developers, DevOps, and Product teams.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.
Document test cases, automation results, and issue reports.
Continuously learn testing frameworks, automation tools, and QA best practices.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript (preferred).
Understanding of manual testing concepts.
Strong interest in Test Automation.
Basic knowledge of Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress (academic or personal projects accepted).
API testing using Postman.
Basic SQL knowledge.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Basic scripting knowledge.

Internship Outcomes
