Job Description – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the efficient operation of plant machinery through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. The candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues, minimizing equipment downtime, and improving machine reliability in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and restore equipment promptly.
- Maintain pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, compressors, and other rotating equipment.
- Perform alignment, installation, and commissioning of machinery.
- Monitor machine health and recommend improvements to enhance reliability.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and checklists.
- Coordinate with Electrical and Instrumentation teams during maintenance activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintenance SOPs.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance practices.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and compressors.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and troubleshoot equipment independently.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
