Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, developing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and driving business growth. The role involves managing customer relationships, expanding market presence, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service while maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Set sales goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and support to team members.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop new customer accounts.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and corporate clients.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Review and approve quotations, pricing, and sales proposals.
- Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries, quotations, and sales orders.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and accounts departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Monitor sales pipelines, forecasts, and inventory requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.
- Organize promotional campaigns, product launches, and sales events.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical business practices.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–8 years of sales experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
