Job Description
We are looking for a highly energetic and target-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to generate new business opportunities by connecting with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, Contractors, PMC Consultants, and Premium Homeowners.
The primary responsibility is to schedule meetings, generate showroom walk-ins, build strong professional relationships, and convert opportunities into projects. The ideal candidate should be confident in cold calling, follow-ups, appointment scheduling, and client relationship management.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and connect with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, Contractors, Developers, and Corporate Clients.
- Make daily outbound calls to generate qualified leads and schedule meetings.
- Fix appointments with architects, designers, and prospective clients.
- Invite clients and influencers to visit the showroom and experience our premium product range.
- Generate maximum qualified showroom walk-ins every month.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, designers, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct regular follow-ups until meetings, showroom visits, or project discussions are completed.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and generate repeat business and referrals.
Sales Coordination
- Coordinate with the showroom sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Follow up on enquiries and assist in converting leads into confirmed orders.
- Update CRM and maintain records of calls, meetings, follow-ups, and showroom visits.
Market Development
- Visit architect offices, interior design firms, construction companies, and project sites when required.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry meetings to generate new business opportunities.
- Keep track of ongoing residential and commercial projects in the assigned territory.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Daily outbound calls completed.
- Meetings scheduled with Architects & Interior Designers.
- Monthly showroom walk-ins generated.
- New client registrations.
- Project enquiries generated.
- Sales conversions and revenue contribution.
- Follow-up completion rate.
Skills & Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Corporate Sales, or Client Relationship Management.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
- Strong experience in cold calling, appointment fixing, and follow-ups.
- Ability to build relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, and Corporate Clients.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and confident in client interactions.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and CRM software is preferred.
- Experience in the Home Furnishing, Furniture, Interior Design, Building Materials, Real Estate, or Construction industry will be an added advantage.
