Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, creative, and customer-focused, with a strong background in food preparation and specialty coffee service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, including espresso-based coffees, smoothies, and teas
- Create fresh wraps, sandwiches, salads, and café-style snacks
- Maintain quality, consistency, and hygiene in all food and beverage preparation
- Greet and serve customers professionally and politely
- Operate the POS system and manage cash/card transactions accurately
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the café and kitchen area
- Monitor stock levels and inform management when replenishment is needed
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Barista experience
- Skilled in preparing food items such as sandwiches, salads, and smoothies
- Solid knowledge of coffee brewing techniques
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented personality
