Role Summary
Responsible for preparing and executing HVAC and cleanroom designs, calculations, equipment selections and technical drawings under the guidance of the Design Head.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and understand design requirements.
- Prepare HVAC design calculations.
- Perform/coordinate:
- Cooling load calculations
- Airflow calculations
- Duct sizing
- Static pressure calculations
- Equipment selection
- AHU selection
- Fan selection
- HEPA filter selection
- Diffuser/grille selection
- Damper selection
- Prepare HVAC layouts and schematic drawings.
- Prepare ducting layouts and sections.
- Prepare cleanroom HVAC layouts.
- Coordinate with architectural, electrical, civil and other MEP drawings.
- Prepare equipment schedules and BOQs.
- Prepare technical submittals.
- Coordinate with customers and consultants for drawing approvals.
- Incorporate comments and revise drawings.
- Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure design feasibility.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers regarding site requirements.
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Prepare as-built drawings and project documentation.
- Assist the Design Head in developing standard designs and engineering practices.
