Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase Management
- Source and evaluate vendors for quality, price, and delivery performance.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies.
Store Management
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
- Issue materials to departments based on approved requisitions.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, GRNs, and inventory reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Ensure accurate documentation and filing of procurement records.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in purchasing and store management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory control procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
