Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Territory Management: Identifying and visiting potential corporate clients within a specific geographic region to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Technical Consultations: Working closely with pre-sales and technical teams to conduct on-site product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) presentations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Navigating complex organizational structures to influence C-suite executives, IT directors, and procurement heads.
- Contract Negotiation: Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact and site visits to final contract signing and hand-over to the implementation team.
- Market Intelligence: Gathering "boots-on-the-ground" feedback regarding competitor pricing, local market needs, and emerging technology trends.
Skills & Qualifications
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services (AWS/Azure), cybersecurity, or enterprise software (ERP/CRM).
- Communication: Ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Success in field sales requires the ability to handle rejection and adapt pitches on the fly during face-to-face meetings.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently (often 50–70% of the time) and a valid driver’s license are typically mandatory.
- Experience: A background in B2B sales is essential, preferably within a technology-driven environment.
