Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Injection Moulding Machine Operator to operate and monitor plastic injection moulding machines to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The candidate will be responsible for machine operation, product inspection, maintaining production records, and following quality and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate plastic injection moulding machines as per production plans and work instructions.
- Start, stop, and monitor machine operations to ensure smooth production.
- Remove moulded components, trim excess material, and perform visual inspection for defects.
- Pack finished products according to packing standards and customer requirements.
- Identify and segregate defective products.
- Monitor machine cycle time and report any abnormalities immediately.
- Ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area by following 5S practices.
- Record production output, rejection, downtime, and shift reports.
- Assist in mould change activities and machine setup when required.
- Follow all quality, safety, and company procedures.
- Report machine breakdowns or quality issues to the Production Supervisor or Maintenance team.
- Minimize material wastage and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of plastic injection moulding machine operation.
- Ability to identify common moulding defects.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or equivalent.
- Freshers are welcome. Prior experience in plastic injection moulding is an added advantage.
Experience
- 0–5 years of experience in operating plastic injection moulding machines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Committed to quality, safety, and productivity.
- Experience in manufacturing PP food containers, disposable packaging, or similar plastic products will be preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
