Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to develop and implement scalable automation frameworks for modern web, API, and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure Data Factory, ETL Validation, SQL, and CI/CD automation, with a strong focus on quality engineering and end-to-end test automation.
The role involves designing automation frameworks, validating Azure data pipelines, automating API and database testing, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and WebDriver-based technologies.
- Automate Web, API, Database, ETL, and Azure Data Platform testing.
- Develop automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Validate Azure ETL pipelines built using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and related Azure services.
- Perform source-to-target validation, data reconciliation, migration testing, and data quality validation.
- Execute database testing, schema validation, query validation, and performance testing.
- Automate API testing for REST and SOAP services.
- Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
- Execute cross-browser and mobile automation testing.
- Collaborate with Developers, Data Engineers, Product Owners, and Architects.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and production issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test strategy and framework improvements.

Required Qualifications

- 5–8 years of experience as an SDET or Test Automation Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure Data Factory, SQL, and ETL Testing.
- Experience building enterprise automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
