A BOM (Bill of Materials) Data Entry professional creates and updates digital lists of parts, materials, and instructions needed to build a product. They link the production floor to the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Data Input: Type part numbers, descriptions, and quantities into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) databases.
- Accuracy Check: Compare typed lists against engineering drawings to spot errors before manufacturing begins.
- Track Changes: Update material lists when product designs or supplier options change.
- Team Work: Talk with design, purchasing, and factory teams to make sure everyone has the correct part information.
Core Requirements
- Computer Skills: Fast typing speed and deep knowledge of MS Excel.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to catch tiny errors in large numbers or part codes.
- Experience: Familiarity with manufacturing terms or database software.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
