- Attend and assess all patients arriving in the casualty/emergency department
- Provide initial diagnosis, emergency treatment, and stabilization
- Handle trauma, medical emergencies, and critical cases efficiently
- Perform basic emergency procedures (suturing, CPR, intubation, etc.)
- Coordinate with specialists for further management and referrals
- Ensure proper documentation of cases, treatment, and medico-legal records
- Monitor patient condition and arrange admission or discharge accordingly
- Respond promptly to emergency calls within the hospital
- Maintain discipline and follow hospital protocols and guidelines
- Communicate effectively with patients and their relatives
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Degree: MBBS degree from a recognized university.
- Registration: Valid medical registration with the State or National Medical Council.
- Experience: Often requires 0–2 years of experience
