Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Team Leader to handle content in the humanities and arts domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge in arts, music, Western culture, and general humanities, along with excellent editing skills and the ability to lead a team effectively. Immediate joiners are preferable.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive copyediting for humanities and arts content
- Handle extensive style editing and Level 1 & Level 2 language editing
- Review and implement author corrections accurately
- Ensure adherence to editorial standards and style guidelines
- Conduct thorough fact-checking within the humanities domain
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting tight deadlines
- Provide guidance, feedback, and support to junior editors
- Coordinate workflow and ensure timely delivery of team outputs
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a copyeditor, preferably in humanities or arts content
- Strong command of English (grammar, syntax, and style)
- Solid knowledge of arts, music, Western culture, and general humanities
- Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Strong fact-checking and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Flexibility to manage changing priorities and workloads
Compensation
CTC: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month
