Job Summary
The Critical Care Physician will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring high-quality patient care and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for complex medical conditions.
- Perform ICU procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and ventilator management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Lead emergency response and critical care interventions when required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding treatment and progress.
Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine, Anaesthesia, Pulmonary Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or equivalent.
- DM/DNB/Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine preferred.
- Valid NMC registration.
- Strong clinical, communication, and decision-making skills.
