We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-minded Restaurant Captain to lead our front-of-house service team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the flow of a designated station or the entire dining floor, ensuring exceptional service, and directly addressing guest needs. The ideal candidate blends top-tier waiting skills with natural leadership, effectively coordinating between the kitchen and floor staff while driving sales through expert menu guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Floor Supervision: Monitor and coordinate the service flow within an assigned dining section. Ensure that all front waiters, back waiters, and bus staff execute their tasks professionally.
- Guest Relations & VIP Service: Welcome and seat guests warmly, handle premium or VIP tables personally, and ensure an overall flawless dining experience.
- Order Management & Upselling: Take complex food and beverage orders accurately, explain detailed preparation methods, recommend premium pairings (wine, cocktails, or high-margin items), and push daily specials.
- Problem Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for guest complaints or issues during service. Resolve conflicts professionally, swiftly, and to the guest's absolute satisfaction.
- Billing & Administration: Accurately present guest bills, handle payment transactions via POS system software, and ensure proper end-of-shift cash drops or daily sales tracking logs.
- Inventory & Hygiene Standards: Oversee the mise-en-place (setup) and mise-en-scène (ambience) before service. Monitor glassware, cutlery, and napkin stocks while strictly maintaining local health and safety regulations.
Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
