Job Summary
**Job Description: ** **Overview: ** The Grafana L3 Administrator is a senior technical role responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of complex Grafana environments. Key Responsibilities
**Responsibilities: ** 1. **Administration and Configuration: ** Manage, administer, and configure Grafana instances, including installation, upgrades, and patching. 2. **Performance Optimization: ** Monitor and optimize Grafana performance, including query optimization, data storage, and dashboard responsiveness. 3. **Issue Resolution: ** Provide Level 3 support to troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues related to Grafana, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime. 4. **Security Management: ** Implement and maintain security best practices, including access controls, authentication mechanisms, and encryption, to safeguard Grafana environments. 5. **High Availability and Disaster Recovery: ** Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions to ensure continuous availability of Grafana services. 6. **Monitoring and Alerting: ** Set up effective monitoring and alerting systems within Grafana to proactively identify issues and take necessary actions. 7. **Documentation: ** Create and maintain detailed documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles for Grafana administration and troubleshooting. 8. **Collaboration: ** Collaborate with other teams such as DevOps, IT operations, and security to ensure Grafana aligns with organizational standards and requirements. 9. **Capacity Planning: ** Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments to accommodate growing data and user demands on Grafana instances.
Skill Requirements
