We are looking for a Purchase Assistant responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials, equipment, and services required for company operations. The role involves handling day-to-day purchasing tasks, coordinating with vendors, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring smooth purchasing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors for procurement requirements.
- Prepare purchase orders and process procurement documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with departments regarding material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on pending orders.
- Maintain records of purchases, invoices, and vendor details
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare purchase reports and maintain procurement data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
