JD : Smartcomms/ Thunderhead Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Smartcomms/ Thunderhead to lead the design and implementation of customer communication solutions within the BFSI domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Smartcomms and a understanding of regulatory and operational requirements in banking, financial services, and insurance. You will play a pivotal role in transforming customer engagement through personalized, compliant, and scalable communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end Smartcomms solutions tailored to BFSI use cases such as policy documents, statements, onboarding communications, and regulatory notices.
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Integrate Smartcomms with core BFSI systems (e.g., core banking, policy admin systems, CRM, ECM).
- Ensure solutions meet compliance standards including GDPR, PCI-DSS and local financial regulations.
- Optimize document generation workflows for performance, accuracy, and auditability.
- Lead technical workshops, proof-of-concepts, and solution demos for stakeholders.
- Provide governance and best practices for Smartcomms usage across the enterprise.
- Support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Smartcomms deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- with at least 5 years in Smartcomms or similar CCM platforms.
- Strong knowledge of BFSI processes, compliance requirements, and customer communication needs.
- Experience with integration technologies (REST APIs, SOAP, SFTP) and enterprise middleware.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms ( Azure) and SaaS deployment models.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
- Must have developed the complex templates and triggering logic
- Must have experience on Approval workflow creation
- Strong outbound integrations experience
- Must have experience on Reports and dashboard development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Smartcomms Designer and Communication Cloud certification.
- Additional experience with document composition tools like Xpression, Quadient, OpenText Exstream, or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Knowledge of customer journey orchestration and omnichannel communication strategies.
