Job Summary
The Administrative Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization to ensure a well-organized, efficient, and productive workplace. The role includes managing office facilities, coordinating administrative staff, maintaining records, supporting various departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily administrative activities of the office.
- Supervise and coordinate administrative support staff, office assistants, drivers, and housekeeping personnel.
- Ensure proper maintenance of office facilities, equipment, and utilities.
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and vendor services.
- Maintain office records, files, and documentation in an organized manner.
- Handle procurement of office supplies, stationery, and other administrative requirements.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and transportation for employees and visitors.
- Monitor office expenses and assist in preparing administrative budgets.
- Ensure timely renewal of licenses, permits, insurance, and other statutory documents.
- Coordinate guest house operations, vehicle management, and employee welfare facilities.
- Support the Human Resources department with employee onboarding, documentation, and administrative activities.
- Prepare administrative reports, correspondence, and presentations as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and administrative procedures.
- Liaise with government authorities, service providers, and external agencies when required.
- Handle general office correspondence and respond to administrative inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Office Administration or Facility Management are an advantage.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in office administration, preferably in the construction, engineering, or corporate sector.
Pay: ₹10,938.45 - ₹40,000.00 per month
