Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the overall maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of hospital facilities. The candidate will be responsible for managing building maintenance, utilities, housekeeping, security, biomedical and non-biomedical infrastructure coordination, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with hospital standards and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day facility operations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure uninterrupted functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water supply, and other utility systems.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Monitor facility-related contracts, vendors, and service providers.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, fire safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Manage facility budgets, cost control initiatives, and resource utilization.
- Coordinate renovation, repair, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Handle emergency situations and ensure business continuity of facility services.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, AMC/CMC contracts, and statutory certifications.
- Collaborate with department heads to address facility-related concerns promptly.
