Job Summary
The HR Intern will support the Human Resources department in day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, onboarding, and administrative activities. This internship provides practical exposure to HR functions within a healthcare environment while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment activities, including screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases.
- Support attendance, leave, and shift documentation.
- Assist in preparing HR letters, appointment letters, and other employee documents.
- Help organize training sessions and employee engagement activities.
- Support performance appraisal documentation.
- Assist with statutory compliance documentation and HR audits.
- Coordinate with various hospital departments for HR-related activities.
- Respond to employee queries under the guidance of the HR team.
- Perform general administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of HRMS software is an added advantage.
