About Position:
We are looking for a GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, SQL, and Data Warehousing to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data modeling, partitioning, performance tuning, dashboard development, and data quality management. You will work closely with business and engineering teams to build reliable data pipelines, analytics solutions, and reporting platforms while ensuring security, governance, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do:

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouses on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Develop and optimize BigQuery datasets, tables, and queries for high-performance analytics.

Implement data modeling, partitioning, clustering, and performance optimization strategies.

Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Looker, LookML, and/or Looker Studio.

Integrate data from multiple sources through APIs and automated ingestion frameworks.

Monitor data platforms using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and operational telemetry tools.

Ensure high data quality, reliability, and availability across data platforms.

Implement row-level security, access controls, and data governance requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics and reporting solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline, performance, and reporting issues.
Expertise You'll Bring:

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics.

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.

Advanced knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and data warehousing concepts.

Experience in data modeling, partitioning, clustering, and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with Looker/LookML and/or Looker Studio dashboard development.

Experience with Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and operational monitoring tools.

Knowledge of API-based data ingestion and ETL/ELT frameworks.

Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and security best practices.

Experience implementing row-level access controls and handling regulated/sensitive data.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification is preferred.
