Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer / Administrative Operator to assist with online examination technical operations, IT infrastructure maintenance, network switch configuration, and server administrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Exam & System Operations: Assist staff in conducting online examinations (INOES 2.0), preparing/uploading examination metadata in both connected and disconnected modes, and facilitating metadata exchange according to set timelines.
- Network & Server Management: Maintain high availability of IT assets including servers, network switches, and nodes in coordination with OEM/AMC vendors. Configure ACLs over Network Switches as required.
- System Upkeep & Security: Apply OS, application, and anti-virus updates/patches for Windows servers, nodes, and switches to ensure minimal system downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Troubleshoot software bugs, connectivity issues, and system defects during exam sessions. Maintain defect logs and coordinate repair/replacement of defective IT/network hardware with AMC supervisors.
- Facility Maintenance: Oversee CCTV recording systems and UPS power backups to guarantee uninterrupted recording during exams.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. (CS, IT, or IS) or MCA from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% aggregate score.
- Operating Systems & Servers: Hands-on working knowledge of Windows Server (including Windows Server 2019), Windows 10 Pro, and Internet Information Services (IIS).
- Networking & Protocols: Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures, network protocols (ARP, TCP/IP, STP, HTTP, SNMP, ICMP), and experience with Network Switch/Firewall configuration and Network Management Software (NMS).
- General IT & Applications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database systems, email infrastructure, and hardware peripheral defect identification.
Pay: ₹21,000.00 per month
