We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance & Business Operations Executive to support our financial operations, compliance coordination, documentation management, and internal business processes. This role will work closely with leadership, external accountants, auditors, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of day-to-day finance and administrative activities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with accounting systems such as Tally, managing financial records, maintaining compliance documentation, and driving operational follow-through in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Manage monthly vendor, consultant, and contractor payments.
- Maintain records of invoices, expenses, payment schedules, and financial transactions.
- Work closely with accounting systems such as Tally and Zoho Books.
- Support bookkeeping and monthly reconciliation activities.
- Maintain financial trackers and operational dashboards in Excel and Google Sheets.
Compliance & Accounting Coordination
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants (CA) and Company Secretaries (CS) for GST, TDS, ROC filings, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure timely collection and organization of financial documents required for filings and audits.
- Maintain compliance calendars and track filing deadlines.
- Support audit preparation and documentation requirements.
Documentation & Administrative Control
- Maintain company contracts, NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and compliance records.
- Ensure proper version control and organization of company documentation.
- Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and operational checklists.
- Track renewal dates and compliance-related milestones.
Business Operations Support
- Manage internal operational workflows and follow-ups.
- Build and maintain structured dashboards and trackers.
- Coordinate across finance, legal, HR, and leadership teams to ensure timely execution of operational tasks.
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and documentation practices.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Tally (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, invoicing, and statutory compliance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong documentation, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment.
CA Articleship candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates currently undergoing or who have completed CA Articleship and possess working knowledge of Tally, bookkeeping, GST, TDS, compliance processes, and financial documentation will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
