We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our residential construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, contract administration, and cost control for apartment and residential projects. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring project costs, verifying contractor bills, preparing client billing, managing quantity take-offs, and ensuring projects are completed within the approved budget. Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project, procurement, and finance teams are essential for this role.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Quantity Surveying certification is an added advantage
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in quantity surveying
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential apartment construction
- Strong knowledge of estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, and cost control
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and detailed cost estimates.
- Verify contractor and subcontractor bills.
- Prepare client bills and RA (Running Account) bills.
- Monitor project costs and control budget variations.
- Analyze material consumption and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, architects, and consultants.
- Review tender documents and prepare cost comparisons.
- Evaluate quotations and recommend suitable vendors and subcontractors.
- Track variations, extra items, and change orders.
- Prepare project cost reports and management MIS.
- Ensure measurements comply with contract terms and project specifications.
- Support procurement by providing quantity and cost data.
- Maintain proper documentation for billing, contracts, and quantity records.
- Ensure timely completion of billing and cost-related activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles
- Excellent estimation and cost control skills
- Good understanding of residential construction methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity estimation software
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Good communication and team coordination abilities
- Ability to work under deadlines with high accuracy
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
