Job Overview
As a Video Editor at Brandddy, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for social media, digital campaigns, advertisements, corporate films, and other marketing initiatives. You will work closely with our creative team to bring concepts to life through compelling edits, motion graphics, sound design, and visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos.
- Create content for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
- Review scripts, briefs, and creative concepts to understand project requirements.
- Perform video editing, sound balancing, color correction, and color grading.
- Add motion graphics, text animations, transitions, and visual effects where required.
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Organize and manage video, audio, and project assets efficiently.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams throughout the production process.
- Review final outputs and make revisions based on feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest editing trends, tools, and social media content formats.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, Videographer, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Good knowledge of color correction and color grading.
- Ability to create basic to intermediate motion graphics and 2D animations.
- Strong audio editing and sound design skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in social media content editing and digital marketing creatives.
- Knowledge of VFX, tracking, masking, and advanced After Effects workflows.
- Experience handling cameras, lighting setups, and photography equipment.
- Familiarity with drone footage editing and cinematic video production.
