Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee sheet metal fabrication operations for metro rail and automotive components. The candidate will manage production activities across Laser Cutting, CNC Bending, Passivation, Pickling, Design Coordination, and Packing, ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities in:
® CNC Laser Cutting
® Press Brake / CNC Bending
® Passivation & Pickling (surface treatment)
® Design coordination
® Packing & dispatch
- Execute production plans as per schedule and customer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to engineering drawings and GD&T standards.
- Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and rejection rates.
- Implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Lead and manage shop-floor manpower and shift operations.
- Maintain production reports and ERP entries.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
- Minimum 2 years in supervisory role.
- Experience in metro rail or automotive component manufacturing preferred.
