Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day production and packing activities as per production plan.
- Supervise primary & secondary packing operations and ensure timely batch completion.
- Manage manpower and allocate work to operators/helpers.
- Ensure production and packing activities are carried out as per SOP, GMP, BMR/BPR and company standards.
- Perform and verify line clearance before starting production/packing.
- Verify packing materials, batch details, labels, coding, MFG/EXP, MRP and product information.
- Maintain production/packing records, logbooks, checklists and reconciliation documents.
- Monitor production output, rejection, wastage and downtime and take corrective action.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, Maintenance and other departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure proper cleaning, hygiene, safety and housekeeping of the production/packing area.
- Train and guide operators/workers on SOPs, GMP, safety and work practices.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, material and machinery.
- Prepare daily production/packing reports and shift handover reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
Qualification:
B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Diploma or relevant qualification.
