Job Summary
Toddlers Early Years Centre is hiring passionate, loving and skilled Early Years Specialist Teachers who can create a joyful, safe and high-quality learning environment for young children.
The centre follows its own structured early years curriculum, and the teacher must be willing to learn, understand and implement the curriculum as per the school’s systems and training.
Responsibilities
- Implement the school’s early years curriculum with consistency and care.
- Conduct engaging classes through stories, rhymes, phonics, numbers, art, craft, movement and play-based learning.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities based on the given curriculum and timetable.
- Build a loving, affectionate and emotionally secure classroom environment.
- Support children’s language, cognitive, social, emotional and motor skill development.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with children, parents and team members.
- Maintain a safe, organised and child-friendly classroom.
- Observe each child’s progress and share updates with the Centre Head.
- Prepare teaching aids, classroom displays and activity materials as required.
- Support assessments, events, celebrations and parent programmes.
- Ensure child safety, hygiene and emotional well-being at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of preschool / early years teaching experience is required.
- NTT / Montessori / ECCE / Early Childhood Education qualification preferred.
- Strong passion for children and early childhood education.
- Good spoken English and confident communication skills.
- High energy levels and ability to actively engage young children.
- Loving, affectionate, patient and emotionally mature.
- Skilled in classroom management, storytelling, activities and play-based learning.
- Must be open to learning, training, feedback and following the school curriculum.
- Professional, punctual, well-groomed and reliable.
Important Expectations
No shouting, punishment, threatening, shaming or harsh behaviour with children. Child safety, dignity and emotional well-being are non-negotiable.
